With 63 movies behind me in the first half of 2015, I added 10 more in July.

I thought I had fallen behind when I posted the May numbers. That was nothing compared to now. Time to claw back. June marks the completion of the first half of 2015.
I have fallen way behind in my movie tracking efforts. Luckily, it’ll only take me two posts to get back to speed. Let’s get into it.
In April, I watched a lot of TV shows (including The IT Crowd and Inside Amy Schumer). This meant a decrease in movie watching.
March is long gone and, with it, the first quarter of 2015. I decided, at the start of the year, that I would track my moving watching habits for the year and various data points along with it. Not because anyone would care necessarily, but because I thought I personally might find it interesting.
Let’s jump into the numbers for March and then the first quarter totals.
As I mentioned at the start of February, I am tracking my movie watching habits this year. This includes a number of different data points, including the services and technologies I use, the years the movies were released and more.
I actually took a break from movie watching for a couple of weeks during the end of February and start of March. Instead, I watched the HBO mini-series, John Adams, and Boardwalk Empire. Parks and Recreation ate into that time a little bit, as well. Since all of that was 100% watched on my tablet, the Fire HDX numbers are obviously down, too.
I’ve decided to take an analytical look at the movies I watch in 2015. This means that I am not just keeping track of the movies, but how I watch them (services and technology), whether or not they were new to me, when they were released and what genres they were in.
