From the desk of Linda Ronstadt

I don’t know her or who she is, really. I know she’s a musician of some kind. I don’t recalling hearing anything she’s ever done (though I probably did and didn’t know it was her), but I’ve heard her name.

Anyway, check this out:

“This is an election year, and I think we’re in desperate trouble and it’s time for people to speak up and not pipe down. It’s a real conflict for me when I go to a concert and find out somebody in the audience is a Republican or fundamental Christian. It can cloud my enjoyment. I’d rather not know.”

Her enjoyment? Forget the paying customers; it’s all about Linda.

Emphasis is mine. Assuming they didn’t misquote her or anything – she should be eaten alive on this.

Too bizarre for words. Anyone who lets politics get in the way of stuff like that needs to get their head examined. I know of someone who wouldn't go to the Van Halen concert with Sammy Hagar because Hagar reportedly gave the maximum contribution to Bush/Cheney '04...sad...
