“FundGate”

Sunday, February 20th, 2005

Pretty funny.

I don’t think it is a HUGE deal. Like Mr. Margolis, I find it hilarious… maybe he didn’t know (I don’t know how obvious this was or wasn’t), but if not, I don’t know how you can just go around using things that aren’t yours. Not the most secure thing to do and if I was there, I wouldn’t just leave my laptop unprotected, either…

Anyway, funny stuff. I liked The Political Teen’s headline: Lock Your Computer Up, Here Comes John Fund!

:D

Ted Turner’s Crazy

Wednesday, January 26th, 2005

Maybe you knew that already or something, but I haven’t had much experience with him.

Anyway:

Ted Turner called FOX an arm of the Bush administration and compared FOXNEWS’s popularity to Hitler’s popular election to run Germany before WWII.

He followed up by pointing out that Adolf Hitler got the most votes when he was elected to run Germany prior to WWII. He said the network is the propaganda tool for the Bush Administration.

But, Bush got the most votes, too. So, what are you saying?

In 1996, Turner apologized to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for comments he made comparing FOX head Rupert Murdoch to Hitler.

Why didn’t he learn already? It is inappropriate to throw Hitler into it like that.

FOX’s response was great.

A FOXNEWS spokesperson responded: “Ted is understandably bitter having lost his ratings, his network and now his mind — we wish him well.”

LOL.

LIBS: The EXCUSED

Funny and true.

Yeah, me too.

Sunday, January 23rd, 2005

Yeah, me too, Chris.

Article: “By our efforts, we have lit a fire,” said George W. Bush at the West Front of the Capitol, “a fire in the minds of men. It warms those who feel its power, it burns those who fight its progress, and one day this untamed fire of freedom will reach the darkest corner of the world.”
