Music Video: “Love Come Down” by Diddy/Dirty Money (HD)

“I feel like perfection. I’m giving you my best. I’m underestimated as the greatest one left.”

Diddy, “Love Come Down”

The music video for the Diddy/Dirty Money single “Love Come Down” premiered a couple of weeks ago and I love it. Directed by Dale “Rage” Resteghini, it’s very strong visually and I love the record. The lighting, the colors, the movements; it’s all excellent and the ending is classic. Check it out below.

The Sound of Crickets

Yeah. So. This blogging thing. I should really do it. It’s been over a month since I last posted. Wow, how did that happen? Everything just sorted of piled onto me at once. I attended three conferences in three weeks in three different states. IZEAFest, Blog World & New Media Expo and Social Media Business Forum. And there was plenty of preparation, packing and unpacking. And they all went well, which was awesome. Expect recaps for the last two at some point in December.

Being away so much, messages just piled up. E-mail messages, Bloglines subscriptions, forum posts and other things. Almost three weeks worth in some cases. In catching up with that, I just never found time to blog. And then I got sick. And then I had another trip tied to my birthday. And then we have Thanksgiving. And then I’ve been contemplating what 2010 holds for me. It just never ends. But, the good news is I have an idea of where I want to go with this blog and that’ll come in time.

But, for now, I’m hoping that things will return to normal. Thank you for reading.

My IZEAFest at SeaWorld 2009 Recap

izeafest-logoJust back from IZEAFest at SeaWorld 2009, I’ve written up a recap of the event at In all, it was a great experience and a great time. I hope to come back again next year and hopefully be a speaker at the event.

I’m at IZEAFest in Orlando, Florida!

Social Media Business Forum Panel Details

Social Media Business ForumOn October 23 in Durham, North Carolina, I’ll be speaking at Social Media Business Forum. I’m featured on a pair of panels during the first half of the day’s programming.

From 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, I’ll be participating in the “Advertising and the Social Web: Can it Work?” session with Gregory Ng, the Creative Director at Brooks Bell Interactive and other panelists to be determined. With my articles relating to the Sports Legends Challenge spam marketing practices, I’ve talked about how not to penetrate the social web, as an advertiser or a marketer. So, this should be a lot of fun.

You can register online. If you’re coming, please let me know!

Video: “The Blogging Revolution” Opening Panel at the Independent Blogging Conference at Greensboro

Last October, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Independent Blogging Conference at Greensboro. I spoke on both the opening panel for the day and gave a solo presentation on “Promoting Your Blog Through Social Media.” It’s taken me a while to process any video from this event, but I finally am able to share the panel and it’s been posted over at

The panel was titled “The Blogging Revolution” and we discussed blogging in general, the responsibility of it, where we saw the medium going and more. We had a great Q&A and discussion with the group that attended. Thank you to Kelby Carr and Dave Slusher for having me.

Music Video: “Angels” by Diddy/Dirty Money featuring The Notorious B.I.G.

This is the new music video for “Angels” by the Diddy-led group, Dirty Money. It’s the lead single from their upcoming album, “Last Train to Paris.” I love this track and the video is pretty cool, too. It’s different.

I’m Attending IZEAFest 2009 in Orlando (October 1-4)

izeafest-logoWhat’s up with October? I don’t attend any conferences since South by Southwest Interactive in March and now, all of a sudden, I’m going to three in the month of October. I’ve already mentioned that I’ll be attending Blog World Expo (Las Vegas, October 15-17) and Social Media Business Forum (Durham, NC, October 23). Now, I’ll also be attending IZEAFest in Orlando from October 1-4.

It’s a single track conference with a solid lineup of speakers including Chris Brogan, Wendy Piersall and others. The last day of the conference is a day at SeaWorld, as well. Coupled with the friends in attendance, it should be a fun experience. I managed to win a pass from Elizabeth Edwards of Table for Five, so a big thank you to her.

If you’re planning to attend and would like to meet up, please let me know. I’ll see you there!
