Alternatives to ieSpell?
Does anyone know of any good alternatives to ieSpell?
I like (or liked, anyway) ieSpell a lot, but a bit over a week ago, when I booted up my computer, it acted… very weirdly. A few programs did not perform normally - in fact, they were broken, really. But, a reinstall fixed every program except ieSpell. I’ve reinstalled it a couple times now and it just isn’t like it used to be. It hangs. So, after messing around with it for a while with no solution, I’m looking for alternatives. Any suggestions?

Hey Patrick, big fan. I’ve been watching you build quite a network but I’ve got a question, how did this blog get pagerank five already without a visible pagerank update? And how did you manage to avoid getting downgraded by the google paid link slam this week, I see text-link-ads everywhere. And how did you alter the adsense code on the top right without getting into trouble?

Thanks for the questions. I’ll answer them in order as best as I can.
1. I don’t know.
2. I don’t know. As a point of clarification, though, I do sell text link advertising - but it’s definitely not everywhere. We limit our text link ad sales by quantity and quality, like any ad. There are no text link advertisements on this site at the moment.
3. I am a part of a special invite only AdSense program that gives me access to code to customize my ads.
No tricks to share, honestly. I just work hard and do what I think is right. Nothing more.
With all of that said, I will definitely be giving some thought to Google’s actions and watching to see what other people that I respect do in regard to this matter.
