What Happened to My Computer?

When I turned my computer on on Thursday morning to begin my daily routine… something was wrong. OneCare loaded, it looked like, but there was no tray icon. KeePass didn’t load up like it always does and is set to do. Looked like other tray icons were missing, too. UltraMon didn’t - and wouldn’t - load. UltraMon is a great program that allows me to have task bars on all 3 of my monitors. This is very convenient.

So, something was up with my computer. Something happened. I spent an hour trying to figure it out and then decided to just get my routine done. During this, I tried to uploaded a file with CuteFTP. And it gave me an error message that I had never seen before. The result was that I couldn’t upload any files. I also found that ieSpell was really, really slow. It never usually is. After I finished my routine, I sat down and reinstalled all of the aforementioned programs. This seems to have fixed the problem with everything but ieSpell.

So, what happened to cause all of these things to break? I don’t have the slightest idea.
