New Saying
Monday, November 14th, 2005I’m finding myself developing a new catch phrase. It’s “Rules are good.” Or you can shorten it to “Rules rock.”

Well, I spent the $10 worth of free music. $0.99 per song, 10 songs. I tried to focus on songs that were on albums where I only wanted one song and didn’t really want to buy the whole album. I came up with:
In My Life by Nelly featuring Mase and Avery Storm.
Pass The Courvosier (Part 2) by Busta Rhymes featuring Diddy and Pharrell Williams.
House & Carriage by Cam’Ron featuring Mase.
Don Cartagena by Fat Joe featuring Diddy.
A Dream by Jay-Z featuring The Notorious B.I.G. and Faith Evans.
What You Been Drankin’ On? by Jim Jones featuring Diddy, Paul Wall and Jha-Jha.
This Time Around by Michael Jackson featuring The Notorious B.I.G.
Unbreakable by Michael Jackson featuring The Notorious B.I.G.
Built This City by The Diplomats.
It’s About That Money by Too Short featuring Diddy.
Good stuff, good stuff.
I am trying to get a PC from one of those free PC sites – it’s not for me, it’s for someone I know. Anyway, what you have to do to get it is sign up and complete an offer and then refer 10 people who then need to sign up and each complete 1 offer. I have already signed up and completed an offer, so this post is to see if anyone might be interested in signing up and being one of my referrals. The link is:

Again, you have to sign up AND complete an offer. After you do so, you can then try to get 10 people of your own. The PCs and laptops that they are offering aren’t terrific or anything, but they’re not too bad. They have a Compaq V2000 laptop, which is the model that I have (although mine’s a bit beefier). I like it a lot. The most powerful PC they have is a Pentium 4 516 (2.93 Ghz). It goes for $429 direct from HP. They have another PC with a Celeron D instead that comes with a monitor and speakers.
The offers they have aren’t bad. If I was interested in signing up for a DVD club (which I will be in the future, I imagine), I would have taken that one. Same for the record club. They have a few that range from paying $1 to $7 (for a Video Professor CD). I opted for a 14 day trial of the Real SuperPass. A credit card was required, but nothing is changed and I can cancel it before the 14 day trial is over and not get changed. You can even get $10 worth of free music at the Real music store, regardless of if you stay or not. I just bought a few songs with my free $10.00. So, that’s actually pretty good.
If you’d be interested in a free PC or laptop or would just like to be nice and complete an offer, please sign up. Thanks. :)
Edit: Updated confirming the free music. I have spent my $10 and it looks good.
I’m looking to get a PC for someone through one of those free desktop PC sites. You know, the ones where you refer people and complete an offer? Yeah. Anyone have any recommendations for the best one?
Anyone else watching this? I’m catching it because it is between The Simpsons and Family Guy (nice placement, Fox) and I’ve found it funny – it has it’s moments. I’ve liked Kyle Sullivan in other things (Nickelodeon Shows, Malcolm in the Middle), so I like him in this – but Michael Rapaport (guessing that’s how you spell his name) is pretty funny.
Go offline for 5 days (unplanned, grr) and come back to what… hundreds and hundreds (thousands?) of e-mails, forum posts, etc. Various maintenance tasks (60 new downloads at phpBBHacks.com to approve, etc.) and, what, phpBB 2.0.18 has been released, also? Not only that, but there are a ton of changes. You’re kidding me! I worked for like 12 hours yesterday and I’m still no where near being back on top of everything. But, I’m getting there.
Anyway, when I get some time, I’ll be writing about the ending of my little hard drive fiasco. Suffice to say, I didn’t lose much.
Ray sent me an invite to MySpace, which I plan to check out once I’m back on top of everything.
The Community Admin Show is back on track and the first episode should be out sometime around the middle of November.
I can’t wait to be all caught up.
