Been a little quiet around here lately. Some random thoughts…

I’m waiting to hear back from American Data Recovery on my hard drive. They said it would take 2 days to evaluate it and we’re getting into the 4th and 5th days now. If I don’t hear anything by tomorrow afternoon, I am going to call them.

CA continues to do well. We’ll see how managing it is over time. Specifically having to moderate people who administrate their own communities. I have two things. Some of them will be more understanding, having to deal with the same issues themselves. Some of them will get offended as they will feel they are above being moderated or they don’t agree with the way I run the site. That’s fine, as long as they don’t get nasty. Those who get nasty, get banned. But, people that act like are few and far in between.

There is some music that I want to get that is only on vinyl records. So, what to do? I’m thinking in the future (when I am out on my own) I will set it up so that I am able to convert vinyl records to MP3s (not sure how successful that will be, but seems possible) and then I’ll start buying the records. These were songs that are flat out not on CDs. So, that would be cool.

b5 media is about to launch. It is co-owned by my friend Jeremy as well as Duncan Riley. Wish them luck.

New episodes of House are back underway, which is great. Same for new episodes of The Simpsons and Family Guy.

I got my headset and it is good. So, I’m not more comfortably able to talk on Skype, etc. I may be using it more and more soon… ;)
