Thinking of Using a Feed Reader, etc.
Basically, I read all of the blogs to the left (under People, News, Blogs). This means that I open every one of those sites up once a day and check for new content. This can take a bit of time.
I’ve never actually used any feeds or had a feed reader, etc. But, I’m thinking that it would save me some time. Since virtually all of the blogs that I read have feeds of some sort available, I was thinking that it would be a good way for me to add 5-10 minutes to my day.
Anyone else do this? Any recommendations for readers? Again, I know nothing about it. Was thinking of giving Bloglines a try, actually.

You’re not using a RSS aggregator yet? gahhhh, it saves you so much time. I’m subscribed to about 225 feeds, and it takes me max 45 minutes a day to read everything, and that’s taking it slow :P

I’ve never used a feed reader and probably won’t. I think that the design of the blog has a lot to do with the personality of the person who is doing the writing.
A lot of the blogs I read have a very strong visual appeal to them and I like that. Using a feed reader would just mean I wouldn’t get to see it :(

I can understand what you are saying, but when the blogs you read gets into the double digits and you read them on an absolute daily basis… it sure is a time saver. Just to see if there is something new. Then I go to the site to read it. Rather than opening them all, seeing that most of them have nothing new and closing it.

Don’t worry, though. I’m reading your blog at the same clip I’ve always been. :)
