4/12/05: House

Well… how’s that for a twist? House maintains his self respect in the speech and then, Cameron leaves.

The previews for the next episode who Voegler and House having a confrontation in the halls and Voegler says that he’ll expect him in his office with his resignation or he’ll “ruin him”…

    I think in the long run it’ll be House who ruins Voegler, but I love how well Voegler is played by Chi McBride. It’s so tweaked and I love it. And the Sleep Sex sub story, pretty funny!

    The show relies a little bit too much on formula though: Main story – Quick but wrong diagnosis, longer diagnosis but still wrong, then sweep in at the end with a packet of mayonase to save the day (simple cure, mostly). The Second story alsmost always a reflection of the main story echoing the emotional turmoil from the main story. But most TV shows have their own formula and this one is plenty fun. I’m sure they will throw plenty of curve balls too.

    I have a season pass on TiVo for it. It’s one of my favorites right now.

    It’ll be interesting to see how House ruins Voegler because, for the moment, it looks like he holds all the cards.

    I don’t like the character at all (Voegler), so I guess that means it’s being played well. :)
