Winamp

Well, thanks to Jared, I am now using Winamp. I liked Windows Media Player and still do (I’ll probably still use it to rip CDs), but some of the playlist stuff was annoying me, so I decided to give Winamp a chance. Got my playlist imported and its working pretty well. Still more to learn about it, of course, but we’ll pick it up.

I really like the opacity setting that you can set to make it blend in. Awesome.

    Winamp was my audio player of choice until I got my iPod and was forced to use iTunes.

    I’ve been using Winamp for about 7 or 8 years now (before skins!)

    It’s a great little music player, and about the only thing that would send me away from it would be if I had to stop using Windows for some reason.

    I still use other apps for video though (WMP, Quicktime, etc.). Winamp is okay there, but the other players seem to work better for me when it comes to non-music media :).
