Eric Milton and Odalis Perez

If Milton wants 3 years/24 million and we offered 3 years/21 million and Odalis Perez wants 3 years/18-21 million, why don’t we just take a crack at Perez? Or, heck, sign both?

Do we have room for either?
Suppose we don’t sign RJ ?
I would much rather have Javy than Milton or Perez.
This assumes that we trade Javy for Soriano, don’t get RJ and dump Brown. Signing both of them wasn’t terribly serious. But, if we did trade Javy for Soriano, then we could do Moose, Pavano, Perez, Wright, Milton. That’s all. Not likely, I know.
Not likely – but I like that scenario. :-)
