ALCS Game 3 Thoughts

Currently top 9 in game 4, but I thought I’d throw a few game 3 thoughts up here.
Bombs away. The Bombers won 19-8, failing to score in just 3 innings. Everybody reached base except for the 1B combo of Clark and Olerud. Olerud got injured (get well soon).
The offensive numbers were amazing. Jeter went 1 for 4 with 2 walks, 2 runs. A-Rod went 3 for 5 with 1 walk, 5 runs, 3 RBI. Sheff went 4 for 5 with 3 runs and 4 RBI. Matsui went 5 for 6 with 5 runs, 5 RBI. Bernie went 4 for 6 with 1 run and 3 RBI. Posada and Sierra both had 2 hits, combining for 1 run and 3 RBI. They just kept scoring and scoring and scoring.
The Yankees pitching wasn’t too brilliant, but they only allowed 2 runs in the final 6 – compared with the 13 that the Sox allowed in that span.
Vazquez ate up 4 and 1/3, allowing 4 runs with Q and Flash combining to get the final 2 and 2/3 out of the way – scoreless. Brownie started the game and was taken out after 2 and 1/3.
Godzilla and Sheff has put on some kind of show with A-Rod and Bernie being hot and the rest doing some damage as well (the always pesky Jeter included).
The bats are hot.
