We’re Lucky

It’s that time of year again. Play-off baseball for my beloved Yankees. I can’t tell you how lucky and blessed that I feel to have an owner like George Steinbrenner. And, for that matter, a manager like Joe Torre and a captain like Derek Jeter. I am thankful to have been born a Yankees fan.

As I’ve said before, I like this team. I like the guys on it and the way they carry themselves. I can’t wait to watch game 1 tonight.

As a side note, if the roster is shaping up like it looks like its shaping up, the Yankees will have a combined 604 postseason games of experience.

    I agree, I’m very thankful to be a Yankee fan.

    But I still reserve the right to call Joe Torre, "clueless Joe", from time to time. ;-)
