Yankees starting pitchers have gone 8 innings pitched in each of the last 4 games. During this stretch, neither Flash nor Mo has had to enter a game – giving them some much needed rest.

Kevin Brown went 8 innings on Thursday, allowing 4 hits and 0 runs while walking 2 and striking out 7.

Javier Vazquez went 8 innings on Friday, allowing 6 hits and 3 runs while walking 0 and striking out 3.

Orlando Hernandez went 8 innings on Satuday, allowing 5 hits and 0 runs while walking 2 and striking out 7.

Jon Leiber went 8 innings today, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs while walking 1 and striking out 5.

During this stretch, the Yankees have outscored opponents 30 to 7.
