Griffey Hits 500th Home Run

I’ve always liked Ken Griffey, Jr. I met him when, you could say, he was at the height of his popularity and he seemed like a nice enough guy.

He took his place among baseball royalty by hitting home run number 500 earlier today. He’s a sure thing hall of famer and in his prime, there aren’t many guys that I’d rather have in center field in the history of the game.
