$40 a day

I see a commercials for a show called $40 a day (or something like that). I believe the premise is to show you how to eat great for $40 a day.

Now, this always kind of makes me say… what?!

I’m the type of guy that if you give me $40 a day, I will spend the first $40 on groceries (and, hey, any toiletries that I need) for that week and then I’ll pocket the $40 in each of the other 6 days. Bank it, save it, invest it, pay bills with it, whatever. $40 a day is like so much money to me. That’s $14,560 a year.

The point of the show is that you can eat gourmet food for $40/day while on vacation.

So it is. :) Well, it’s traveling in general (which includes vacationing).

I guess on the road thats not much… I’d try to shoot for $25. ;)
